The Roaming Poets: Fall Edition

Just imagine touring an Historic small town bustling with lovers of art. Live music, local shops, restaurants, street performers, and galleries while enjoying the presence of family, friends and community. And as you settle into a bar, or mosy into a gallery while enjoying your evening 3 Poets arrive and all of sudden you are captivated and inspired by their powerful and life changing words. The Roaming Poets has become a favorite tradition of the Last Friday’s & The Art Walk end of the month Event in Hillsborough NC  Poets get to roam the town, explore the art scene, connect with the community of artist and poetry lovers. We explore different platforms to perform such as side walks, balconies, patios, galleries, stages, restaurants, and sidewalks drawing in crowds and changing lives one poem at a time. It’s nothing short of an artistic adventure because every month presents a brand new organic experience. It’s a perfect opportunity for new poets who are looking to explore their talent of writing but who may get anxiety on big stages and in front of large crowds, it’s also great for more seasoned poets who may want to try something new in ways to diversify their performance skills. There are so many things that makes this such an interesting and fulfilling experience to witness and be part of!!!
